Ice and water shield is a peal and stick waterproofing underlayment formulated to form a watertight seal that delivers exceptional water resistance and ice protection. It is used primarily to protect from damage caused by ice dams and wind driven rain. This underlayment comes with a GRANULAR walkable surface and is “spot installed” primarily in vulnerable areas such as eaves, rake edges, overhangs and valleys. The primary roofing underlayment of choice is installed above, overlapping these areas.
